James is not your average tradesman. He's super professional, pleasant to have around and knows his stuff. He answers emails promptly, turns up exactly when he's promised. On the two occasions we've used him, he's sorted out our electrical problems quickly. Nothing seems too much bother for him. Honestly, we can't recommend James highly enough.

James came to advise on my light fittings - he was helpful and thoughtful. He then replaced two ceiling fittings and removed old wall lights quickly and to a high standard. Very happy - would definitely recommend James!

Fantastic! We had a list of smallish jobs we needed doing - multiple light fittings, extractor fan replacement. I emailed James and he got back to me despite being abroad on holiday. We agreed a day the following week and he turned up on time. His pricing structure was clear and he absolutely raced through the jobs to ensure I paid as little as possible. He wouldn't even accept a cup of tea! Brilliant advice and came with me to pick fittings from Wickes across the road. Courteous, polite, clean and tidy. So good I gave him a tip. James is an excellent electrician with a lot of integrity. He solved my electrical problems without any fuss whatsoever, and with minimum disruption. His prices are also very reasonable which is a bonus and I would not hesitate to recommend his services for any household electrical issues, large or small.

We had an outside security light fitted at the front, and James also repaired my rear security lights, There were a few teething problems with the front light (not his fault, and we were unable to test it properly until dusk) so we had to call him back a couple of times. With the rear light, the problem was more complex than it at first seemed, and he had to come back.. He then correctly diagnosed the problem, which basically was that it had not been correctly installed in the first place, and re-wired it. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was very willing to return until both jobs were completed satisfactorily. His prices were very reasonable and he charged nothing extra for both jobs, despite the extra time taken.
So I can recommend James as being a competent, reliable and honest electrician, and he has a very pleasant manner. He is also amazingly punctual (despite London traffic), and has excellent communication, always replying promptly to emails and 'phone calls. I would certainly use him again. Continue Reading

I have used James twice in Jan and Feb 2013 to chase down a couple of mysterious faults. He was very competant and helpful, and the problems were both resolved in good time. His charges were wholly reasonable.

My partner and I took on the service of James and we were highly satisfied with the service he offered us. He is very friendly, reliable and efficient. He was also extremely thorough and explained everything that he was going to do,He estimated it would take 3 days but he managed to do an excellent job in 2 days. He neatly moved a few electrical sockets(they were inconveniently situated) around the flat and also installed new light fittings in our bathroom as well as light fittings in our living room and provided us with a complete electrical report. Jaime fitted a digital thermostat for us. He did a great job, fitting it quickly and I was especially impressed at how neat he was and how he cleaned up everything after himself. He was reliable, friendly and I will definitely call him again for any further electrical work we have.

James converted fixed my bathroom lights which had stopped working due to a faulty converter. He also changed several single electric sockets to double sockets. He was very flexible, finding a convenient time for me to do the work. He was efficient and produced good quality work. I would definitely use him again.
